I've just dyed my hair - I'm not loyal to a brand at all - I get whatever is on offer and the Schwartzkoph live colours are £3.49 at Superdrug at the moment so I snapped one up this afternoon, as my hair was showing some silver flecks (as it has done from the age of 24 - how lucky am I?!) I used the Tempting Chocolate shade.
It goes on like the others, nice and thick so no dripping and it washed out really well. Really quickly and easily in fact I was quite surprised (unlike others that you need to scrape off your scalp with your fingernails!).
OK, let me just clear something up - those of you may have noticed that I am vegan (as per my username) and whilst I eat vegan and try and live a vegan lifestyle to the best of my ability (I've just brought some new vegan trainers) I am aware that Schwartzkoph isn't one of the best brands I could have used and should be using something more natural - I apologise - I will get there in the end and to those who are vegan and are disgusted with me - I apologise again.....anyway, I am who I am and use what I do so nerrrrrrrrr.
After using the conditioner that came with the dye. I actually find these no better than the conditioners I own already, just something that they always bung in the packet, but I used it because I hate having them knocking about.
I've now dried my hair and have NO GREYS and nice shiny chocolate coloured hair - how lovely is that? Ready to go out now (if only!)...Lets see if hubby notices!
Hi, this is a bit like leaving a message on an answer machine - I don't really know where to start but as soon as I put the 'phone' down....I'll be like - shit, wish I'd have said that...anyway, I thought I'd start a blog, firstly because searching blogs I couldn't find one that was aimed at me (you will probably disagree) - I want something aimed at my age group (late 30's), a busy mum of 2 who has recently lost weight and is interested in dressing fashionably, but not like a teenager - so, this is where I am going to start. Do it myself. I also am going to do product reviews, basically because I am OLD I have my opinions now, that I didn't have 10 years ago ha ha, anyway, I write this now with some hairdye on my head that needs washing off - so will start with that, take some photos of me and get this blog on the road - so to speak.
